the fair

GIFA 2023

Now in its fifteenth edition, GIFA is the most important trade fair event for all stakeholders in the foundry industry. Foundries, manufacturers of machinery for making moulds/cores as well as companies specialised in production processes and in the formulation of materials aimed at environmental protection: these are just some of the protagonists of GIFA, fundamental players in a production chain that is so central to the global economy. Furthermore, the fair is enlivened by a varied program of seminars, international congresses, symposiums and conferences. The 2023 edition aims to match, and possibly surpass, the extraordinary results of the 2019 event, which saw more than 950 exhibitors and over 45,000 visitors from all over the world, of which 98% declared themselves to be satisfied with the experience and, above all, around 40% confirmed that they succeeded in concluding new commercial agreements.

where and who

HALL 16, STAND G25

GIFA will be held from Monday 12 to Friday 16 June 2023: Italvibras will be pleased to welcome you to its stand (located in the G25 area in Hall 16) of Messe Düsseldorf, the exhibition centre that has hosted the event since the first edition in 1956. Over the years, the Messe has become one of the strongest trade fair organisers in the world in terms of turnover, thanks to its 306,000 m² of exhibition space and over 900 employees. To reach Düsseldorf from Italy it is best to go by plane. In fact, the city airport is the third largest in Germany and has various connections to Milan and Rome. Once there, there is an excellent train service that connects the airport to the city, only about 15 km away. Alternatively, you can also consider traveling by car: Milan and Düsseldorf are about 800 kilometres away.

" GIFA is an international event, the platform where the future directions of the entire foundry industry take shape. With its participation, Italvibras confirms once again that it is one of the main players at an international level, making its know-how in the field of electric motor vibrators available to new partners and developing solutions with them that focus on innovation and environmental sustainability, thus ensuring a significant competitive advantage "

things to see and to know

The industry’s future challenges

Decarbonisation of the industry, efficiency/innovation of production processes and ecological transition are the major challenges that the entire metallurgical sector will have to face in the coming decades. In this context GIFA 2023 will deal with the development of these issues in its Forum, which will touch topics such as the application of artificial intelligence in the die casting process for predictive maintenance, efficiency improvement and energy saving and sustainable casting of aluminium in foundries.

Düsseldorf

Capital of the Land of North Rhine-Westphalia, Düsseldorf is one of the most brilliant (as well as richest) economic and cultural areas in Germany. This translates into an environment with an international flavour but which, at the same time, knows how to offer enormous conviviality and hospitality on the part of its inhabitants. Among the flagship sectors of this reality, we cannot fail to mention the cultural industries of fashion and art.
